The R5 GTL Restomod Story
With Incari Studio, the digital instrument cluster for the EV converted Restomod Renault R5 GTL had been developed by Incari and R-Fit. With the custom-developed „RetroBox”, Incari enabled seamless connectivity for all types of inputs, whether vintage or modern. The finished restomod Renault 5 EV was featured on the Vintage Mecanic TV program, which was broadcast end of 2024 in France.

The goal is to extend their lifespan and enhance efficiency with modern technology without replacing the entire system.
How Incari and R-Fit retroffitted the legendary Méhari
Together with the french company R-Fit, Incari has developed a fully digital instrument cluster for the iconic Méhari. As a result of this successful project, over 50-year-old components of a classic car have been integrated with modern, forward-looking propulsion and a digitized user experience.
